What a great way to use your leftover Christmas orange peels!
2 coats coming from one direction, and then 2 coming from the other direction to get under all the slanted bits. There’s no need to do the sides since they’ll be hiding inside the hole.
It looks like it should be more complicated than that, but it really isn’t!.OK, so it’s not the most dramatic before and after because of all of the other updates still needed around here, but as far the vent cover goes it’s like night and day.If you’re planning on updating an outdated room, keep this little idea in your back pocket.
You’d never know that these weren’t brand new now and you’ll easily save yourself $50 on replacing a whole room’s worth of covers. They look great when they’re done in a. crisp white.
oil rubbed bronze.
spray paint too!.It’s just a little non-constructiony project, but I’ve been plugging away at making the Master Bedroom a little less horrifying and I think it’s coming along nicely.
It’s not the big huge complete tear-down renovation that we want to do in here eventually, but it’s worth it to me to just do a few little things to make daily life a little more enjoyable in the meantime.Waking up in a happy room and turning on a pretty lamp is going to make all the difference in those 3 am feedings with the new baby for me.
Sometimes I see other bloggers do these posts where they share where they got everything and how much they paid for it, and I usually just love those.Maybe it’s my inner nosy girl coming out.
